Super Vacationland exists to describe hospitality properties with care and then step aside. These notes explain what the guide is for, who stands behind it, and why every detailed question ends at an official listing rather than on this desk.
An independent platform focused on hospitality discovery — what this site is and, plainly, what it is not
This site is a reading room for travellers who want a calm, structured introduction to places to stay. Each entry covers setting, category and the character of the property in the same order, so you can move between pages without relearning the format.
It is not a booking engine. There is no calendar, no inventory and no commercial offer hiding behind a button. If a sentence sounds like a sales pitch, it does not belong here — and we cut it.
Discovery, for us, means enough context to decide whether a property is worth a closer look. The closer look itself happens on the listing page operated by the property or its distribution partners.
We keep the language observational. Rooms are noted for outlook and finish when those facts are in scope; dining and surroundings appear as part of how a stay feels, not as promises of a particular evening.
Who We Are — an independent guide with no ownership of, or agreement with, any property named on it
Super Vacationland is run as an editorial project. The desk that writes these pages does not own hotels, manage resorts or hold commercial agreements with the businesses named in the catalogs.
Names and marks appear because they identify real places. Their use here is descriptive. It does not signal partnership, endorsement or preferential placement.
Independence also means we do not rank properties against each other. Order on a catalog page follows the editorial grouping for that page, not a score or a sponsored slot.
If you need to correct a factual detail about how a property is described, the Enquiries desk will listen. It still cannot alter anything at the property itself.
What We Present — descriptive overviews of accommodation, amenities and surroundings, in a consistent structure
Every venue card carries one photograph, the property name, its city and province, a short description and a single outbound link labelled “See the Property.” That pattern does not change from page to page.
Descriptions are built from supplied facts: category, star class, setting and location. We do not invent restaurant names, room counts or renovation years to fill a paragraph.
Amenities appear only when the supplied setting supports them. A waterfront tag may colour the prose; a spa that was never mentioned will not appear.
Surroundings matter. Countryside, downtown, mountain and airport edges change how a stay is paced, and we say so in plain language.
Our Approach — clarity, structure and transparency, and why the site sends readers to official listing pages for details
Clarity means short sentences and fixed sections. Structure means the same fields on every card. Transparency means saying, on every page, that this guide holds no booking authority.
Official listing pages change when policies change. We cannot mirror that pace, so we do not try. The listing button is the handoff: from editorial overview to the source of current detail.
That handoff is deliberate. Keeping transactional work off this site protects the reading experience and keeps our claims honest.
